University of Nicosia/Intercollege Library is equipped with more than twenty computer terminals, through which users have access to our on-line catalog InterCAT – a world known product of automated library system by Ex Libris, which meets all aspects of our information and management needs.

Our Unix web-based retrieval system, with its sophistication, brings the Acquisitions, Cataloguing, Serials and Circulation processes of our library services to the standard of any other Western University Library. It enables us to connect the library collections of Nicosia, Larnaca and Limassol campus, providing us with the ability to share print as well as online resources from any location via the World Wide Web.

A number of terminals are available for accessing both our on-line databases as well as the internet. This enables users to locate thousands of articles in abstract or full-text form. Off-campus access is also available for all internet resources and active users. You can link to all the university materials from home.

For wireless connection you can pick a Wi-Fi card from the Circulation Desk after you hand in your ID card.

Two TVs and DVDs are available in the library as well as a number of tape recorders. These enable students to use audiovisuals which are not loaned out.

There is also a specific setup for serving visually impaired students.
Using dedicated computer hardware and software (SuperNova), people who are visually impaired can view large-type renditions of digital material on the large monitor or listen through headphones as a computerized voice reads the information.
